Top 3 Reasons Why I No Longer Offer Microblading

Reason #1: I am very specific about who I work with and which technique is used.

Not everyone is a good candidate for Microblading.  Microblading is NOT good for oily skin, mature skin, or covering old color.  This was a high percentage of the people walking through my door.

Reason #2: You need more touch ups with Microblading.

It does not go as deep in the skin as the machine, so it will fade quicker.  More touch ups mean more trauma to the skin.  Realistically you need a touch up after 6-12 months with Microblading and 1.5-2 years with the machine (powder method).

Reason #3: In most cases the hair strokes will blur/blend together after several months as the pigment heals in the skin.

This goes for both Microblading and machine hair strokes.  The oils in our skin play a big part here.  The crisp strokes you see right after the treatment are short lived.

*Unfortunately, most people do not realize how Microblading is done and how the pigment is implanted (by dragging a blade through the skin). Look into the items I listed above, do you research.  Please reach out if you have any questions about this.
